Wild Card Clinched by Puckmen Monday, September 5th , 2039 The manager of the Namuko Puckmen is reminding the city of Namuko to "keep the faith" as the team heads into the playoffs as a wild card team. "We believe in ourselves and we need our fans to believe in us too," said Arnie Miller. "We know we can get Namuko rocking with a great run in the playoffs." It remains to be seen just how deep the Puckmen will be able to go in the playoffs, but confidence appears to be high. "We've got the team to win a championship, I firmly believe that," said designated hitter Pedro Hernández. If the team is successful, it would be the 1st Global Baseball Brotherhood championship in franchise history. |
