Best RML Pitcher Announced Friday, October 21st , 2039 Rocky Mountain League hitters didn't have much of a chance in the 2039 season when the Glendale manager wrote "Tony Day" on the lineup card. Outing after outing, he held teams in check and usually got a win. He excelled with a 13-6 mark and 2.63 ERA in 26 starts, tossed 178 innings, fanned 214 and held opposing teams to a .203 average. For his superb season Day was today named the RML Outstanding Pitcher Award winner. He received 21 first place votes out of a possible 32. Jorge Salinas of the Niigata Gigans finished second in voting with 2 first place votes, while César Alfonso of the Henderson Fighting Scotts finished third with 7 first place votes.
