Ambers Not Competitive in 6-0 Loss to Evansville Tuesday, April 24th , 2040 Evansville Tri-Staters fans were pleased to see so many goose eggs up on the scoreboard as Manuel Gonzáles blanked the Akron Ambers, 6-0 at Tri-Staters Ballpark today. Gonzáles stopped them on 3 hits while walking 2 and striking out 8. "Once he gets in a groove, he can be dynamite," Tri-Staters skipper Pepe Espinosa said. "He was on top of his game in this one."
