Kings Mauro Castillo to Miss Year Monday, June 6th , 2039 The season is finished for Mauro Castillo of the Red Deer Kings. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Kings starting pitcher suffered bone chips in his elbow while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Quebec City Frenchies. Team doctors said it would take at least 4 months to heal. Up to now Castillo has recorded a record of 2-8. In 12 starts he has fanned 48 batters in 54.1 innings with a 5.13 ERA. |
