5-Hit Blitz by Chaundler Thursday, July 7th , 2039 Joseph Chaundler was at the head of a Medicine Hat hit parade today at Ballpark of Calgary. The first baseman went to the plate 7 times and came away with 5 hits, sparking the Drillers to a 25-10 victory over the Calgary Stampede. "I told the guys in the dugout, just be thinking about hitting the ball hard somewhere," the sweet-swinging Chaundler told reporters after the game. "Seems like it worked out well for us today." Stampede skipper Mario García said later that the club gave up "too much plate." "Not the way we planned it," he said. "Every hitter in the league will rip you when you do that." Joseph Chaundler hit a two-run home run off Ricardo Chávez in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
