Lobsters Hurler Wood Tosses Masterpiece Friday, July 29th , 2039 Mike Wood shut down the Monterey Sea Lions today, blanking them 5-0 on 5 hits, ringing up 7 strikeouts and allowing no walks. The Maine Lobsters pitcher appeared to get stronger as the game went on. "I don't know if I was getting any stronger," Wood said after the game. "I feel like my mechanics were getting better.
