Bell Put in Cooler, Hitless Against Santurce Wednesday, August 3rd , 2039 After 20 games, Maine third baseman William Bell saw his hitting streak end when he went hitless in 3 at-bats. However, the Lobsters still managed to take the win, topping the Santurce Castillos 4-1 at Ballpark of Maine. "It was a good run," Bell said after the game. "It was bound to end at some point. I'm just glad we won the day it ended." This year Bell is batting .302 with 119 hits, 15 home runs, 58 RBIs, 21 walks, .344 OBP and has scored 47 runs. |
