Jesty Hits in 31 Consecutive Games Wednesday, August 10th , 2039 The hot bat of Crushers designated hitter Harrison Jesty continues to churn out hit after hit, game after game. His consecutive-game hitting streak now numbers 31 games after he went 1-for-4 in today's 8-4 loss to the Hoods at Crushatorium. "I'm trying not to think about it much," he said later. "I don't want to mess with whatever zone I'm in." Harrison Jesty flied out in the 1st, was hit by a pitch in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, flied out in the 7th and singled in the 9th. This year Jesty is batting .299 with 16 home runs and 67 RBIs. In 108 games he has scored 65 times. |
