Vincent Torches Islanders for 6 Hits Saturday, August 27th , 2039 It was high-fives all around for Chris Vincent at Crushatorium today. He got them from his teammates and he got them at the plate during an outstanding hitting performance against the Laval Islanders. Vincent smashed 6 hits in 6 at-bats on his monster day, leading his club to a 24-2 win. "Chris was hitting everything," said Crushers manager Gilberto Ruíz. "It really was a special game for him." In the opposing dugout, Islanders manager Ken Tuttle told BNN beat writers that Vincent "ambushed" the club. "Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but we'll have another chance," the skipper said. "Hopefully, Vincent oversleeps next time." Chris Vincent hit a two-run home run off Alex Tanton in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit a three-run double in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, tripled in the 7th, walked in the 8th and hit a two-run single in the 8th.
