August's #1 Starter Named in PCAL Thursday, September 1st , 2039 When the Mothra skipper wrote Miller on the lineup card, it was a bad omen for the opposition. Outing after outing in August he took command and usually got the win. He dominated with a 6-0 mark and 1.64 ERA in 7 starts. The gifted Mothra star pitched 49.1 innings, fanned 41 and held opposing teams to a .205 average. For his excellent mound work Miller was named the PCAL Pitcher of the Month by the baseball writers. In 31 starts this season Miller has rung up a 18-5 record and a 2.27 ERA. |
