Hoods Rivera No-Hits Balloonists Friday, September 2nd , 2039 It was a fantastic day for Sherwood Park Hoods starter Rafael Rivera and a lousy day for the Gatineau Balloonists. The Sherwood Park hurler's pitching artistry completely befuddled and bewildered the Balloonists, as the Hoods cruised to a 5-0 win. When it was all over, Rivera was credited with one of the rarer feats in baseball -- a no-hitter. "The ball was moving and darting, and best of all, going where I wanted it to go," Rivera said later.
