Hit Parade: González Pops 5 Hits Tuesday, April 10th , 2040 Today at Cyclones Stadium, Miguel González put on an impressive display. The Omaha Insurers left fielder tagged Hampton pitching for 5 hits in 6 at-bats, but his teammates were unable to capitalize on the spree and lost the game to the Hampton Airborne by the score of 4-3. "The loss takes some of the joy out of it, but I'll take it," González said. "5-for-6 ain't bad in any league." Despite the terrific performance, the Insurers manager was unwilling to offer the left fielder much praise, saying the "whole roster" is held accountable for losses. "Miguel told me 'Coach, I had 5 hits' and I said 'Well that's great, but it looks like we needed one more from you,'" manager Tetsu Konishi said. Miguel González singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 10th and flied out in the 11th.
