Nunn Stands Out in Calexico Shutout Sunday, September 5th , 2038 Edwin Nunn subdued the Marduk Nerv, 4-0, pitching a 2-hit gem for the Calexico Reins at Ballpark of Calexico. "He was kind of teasing them with his off-speed stuff, and his fastball was moving everywhere," Calexico skipper Hokusai Tanaka said afterward. Nunn registered 9 strikeouts and issued no walks in his superb performance. "We just didn't swing the bats very well. Or else he just pitched good, whichever way you want to look at it," said Marduk manager Malcolm Brewer after the defeat.
