5 Hits for Battleships Wang Wednesday, May 11th , 2039 It was a parade of hits for Yen-ti Wang of the Bismarck Battleships at Battleships Ballpark today. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Wang finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Battleships to a 7-6 victory. "Wang was really good and we were really bad," groaned Vulcans manager Toby Brown. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Yen-ti Wang hit a two-run home run off Hugh Peña in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off James Thornber in the 7th, doubled in the 10th and singled in the 12th.
