Un-four-gettable: Horton Hits for Cycle Monday, July 4th , 2039 At Battleships Ballpark today, Randy Horton led Jackson Hole to a 5-3 victory over the Bismarck Battleships by hitting for the cycle, one of baseball's more difficult feats. "Usually the triple is the hardest one to get, but I was most worried about the homer today because the ball wasn't carrying," Horton said later. "When I took it deep, I was expecting the ball to die on the warning track, so it was sweet seeing the ump give me the signal to circle the bases." In addition to going 5-for-7, Horton chalked up 2 RBI and scored 3 runs in an exceptional performance. Randy Horton doubled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd, tripled in the 6th, struck out in the 7th, doubled in the 9th and hit a two-run home run off Adam MacKay in the 11th.
