Gálvez 5-for-6 for San Luis Rio Colorado
Monday, August 1st , 2039
5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but San Luis Rio Colorado's Héctor Gálvez made it happen today against the Saguaros. Everything came together at the plate for the 25-year-old left fielder as he collected 5 hits in 6 at-bats -- and led the Rapidos Blancos to a 15-2 win at Ballpark of San Luis Río Colorado.
"I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Gálvez said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em."
Héctor Gálvez singled in the 1st, hit a two-run double in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Alistair Mana in the 8th.
This year Gálvez has batted at a .309 pace with 95 hits, 7 home runs, 57 RBIs and scored 50 times.
