Lorimer Strokes 5 Hits Friday, August 5th , 2039 Mike Lorimer of the Escondido Stone Brews went on a hitting spree today against the Magami Ako pitching staff, racking up 5 hits in 7 at-bats, but to no avail -- the Ako put a damper on his day and prevailed 8-7 over the Stone Brews. "It was a heck of a day and I was kind of looking forward to a better ending than that," he said later. Mike Lorimer singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 10th, singled in the 12th, flied out in the 14th and hit a solo-shot off Santiago Pérez in the 16th.
