Week's Best Player Honored by BCL Monday, August 8th , 2039 It was announced today that Escondido center fielder Mike Lorimer had received the Baja Cali League Player of the Week Award for his impressive play last week. All week long he was terrific at the plate and won the honor with a .500 BA (15-for-30), 2 home runs and 6 RBIs. In his stats this season, Lorimer has posted a batting average of .323 with 100 hits in 310 at-bats, 6 home runs and 37 RBIs. He has also scored 55 runs, walked 21 times and compiled a .373 OBP. |
