Yano Joins 3-HR Club Wednesday, August 17th , 2039 It was a good day for the Rosarito Monjas del Vuelo and an exceptional one for Yoshimi Yano. The 22-year-old first baseman sent three bombs out of the park to help the Monjas del Vuelo beat the Marduk Nerv 13-3 at Ballpark of Rosarito. "When you're in the zone, the game really slows down," Yano said when asked about his performance later. "I couldn't even tell you what pitches were thrown. Today feels great, but it is a long season and tomorrow is another day." For the day, he scored 3 times, drove in 6 runs and smacked 3 hits in 4 at-bats. Yoshimi Yano hit a solo-shot off Brad Allen in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Brad Allen in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, walked in the 6th and hit a three-run home run off Zhao-ji Gao in the 8th.
