Takaki and Cai Fight, Get Suspended Saturday, September 3rd , 2039 After an intense confrontation, both the Shiko Koryusai Takaki and the Kilmers Bang-xao Cai were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Takaoka-Salton Sea game. Koryusai Takaki will miss 4 games, while Bang-xao Cai was suspended for 6 games. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Koryusai Takaki commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." For the year Takaki is batting .293 with no home runs, 9 RBIs and 13 runs scored. Currently Cai has a 7-4 won-lost record in 21 starts with a 3.67 ERA. He also has 66 strikeouts in 127.2 innings. |
