Shmoes Dominate, Sweep Championship Thursday, September 29th , 2039 The San Luis Rio Colorado Rapidos Blancos were simply overmatched by the Mexicali Shmoes in the Championship. The end result was a sweep, as Mexicali has cruised to the NAFTA Trophy, with the final win coming at Ballpark of San Luis Río Colorado by a score of 5-0. "We're clicking and running on all cylinders at the moment," said Santos Cruz, who was named MVP of the Championship. "We're a dangerous team when we play like this." For the series, Cruz hit .429 with a .471 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 3 runs.
