Top BCL Pitcher Announced Thursday, October 20th , 2039 The Mexicali Shmoes have a rising superstar or maybe even a budding Hall-of-Famer in the making. It's Ken Marshall, this year's Baja Cali League Outstanding Pitcher Award selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance. Marshall compiled a 16-1 record in 21 starts, tallied 216 strikeouts in 160.1 innings and recorded a 1.46 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .174 batting average against him. He received 32 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. José Sánchez of the Mexicali Shmoes finished second in voting, while Ánibal Gallegos of the Chula Vista Chargers finished third.
