Kilmers C Adams Suspended 2 Games Thursday, April 19th , 2040 Don Adams has been penalized by the commissioner's office for his verbal and physical assault of an umpire. The catcher unleashed his fury in protesting a third-strike call in yesterday's Salton Sea-Calexico game at Ballpark of Calexico. And now he has to pay for it -- Adams has been suspended for 2 games for his unacceptable actions. The commissioner said in his statement that the league would have zero tolerance for any contact with an umpire, unintentional or otherwise. |
