Takeuchi Pounds BCL Pitchers This Week Monday, April 23rd , 2040 It was some kind of week for Hisashi Takeuchi of the National City Bankers. First he hits the heck out of the ball, ripping it at a .481 clip and the next thing you know, he is voted the Player of the Week in the Baja Cali League. Last week Takeuchi went 13-for-27, chalked up 3 home runs and 8 RBIs and scored 9 runs. Not a bad week's work at all. |
