The Math Says - Evangelists Out of Playoffs Friday, April 24th , 2037 The dream of lifting a championship banner above the home field of the Notre Dame Evangelists has been extinguished, at least for 2037. The club was formally eliminated from playoff contention today. Asked to comment on the news, Evangelists manager Tanosuke Kouda issued a one-word statement, which cannot be printed by BNN. Before this season, the Evangelists last missed the playoffs in 2035. In the 31 years they have been a United States Collegiate Baseball Association franchise, they have missed the playoffs 24 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Evangelists have made the playoffs 4 times. |
