Red Dawns Move on to USCBA Championship Series Friday, May 21st , 2038 Scotty Reed sparked his Michigan Red Dawns past the pesky UCONN Klondikes in a closely-contested Super Regionals. Michigan topped UCONN 5-4 at Red Dawns Stadium to decide the series, 4-2 For his efforts, Reed was rewarded with the series MVP trophy for his .273 batting average, 4 RBIs and 5 runs scored. "You never want to leave anything on the field," Reed said. "You never want to miss a play of defense you could have made, or give up an extra base you could have gotten, because in a series this tight you never know what you'll need to win."
