Skipper Bates Told to Go, Sacked by Herd Wednesday, June 2nd , 2038 The Herd released an announcement to the Colorado press corps with the simple title "Bates Out as Manager." According to an unnamed source within the organization, Bates was not without his defenders in the front office, but ultimately he failed to garner a majority of support from the Herd executives in charge of his fate. So far, there have been no comments from the players or Bates himself. |
