Gibbons Picked USCBA COL Player of the Week Monday, April 18th , 2039 Swinging a hot stick last week, Jeff Gibbons picked up the United States Collegiate Baseball Association Player of the Week Award today. The 21-year-old third baseman for Rutgers lashed 10 hits in 24 at-bats as he put together a .417 average with 4 home runs. Gibbons also drove in 9 runs, scored 6 times and compiled a .481 OBP. Gibbons is currently batting .212 with 7 home runs and 20 RBIs. |
