League Suspends Orozco and Cox for Fisticuffs Tuesday, April 19th , 2039 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's California-Arizona contest at Ballpark of California. The Campaniles Juan Carlos Orozco and the Lutes Stan Cox will have to sit out 4 and 8 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. For the season, Orozco is hitting at a .137 clip with 2 home runs, 9 RBIs and has scored 12 runs. He has 22 hits, 10 walks and a .192 on-base percentage. On his stats sheet this season Cox shows a 0-1 record, 6 starts, 36.2 innings, 25 strikeouts and a 1.47 ERA. |
