Rutgers's Taylor Suspended 2 Games Friday, April 22nd , 2039 Rutgers's Brian Taylor has been given a 2-game suspension for his outburst following an ejection in a recent game with the Arizona Lutes at Ballpark of Arizona. He was called out on a third strike by the plate umpire and halted the game to argue about it. The disgusted Taylor slowly walked back to the dugout with bat in hand, but suddenly turned around and headed toward the umpire. He was stopped by the on-deck hitter and third base coach as his manager continued to argue the call. A moment later, Taylor was ejected. Thus far this season Taylor has hit .270 with 8 home runs, 30 RBIs and scored 25 times. |
