League Suspends Dyer and Wheeler for Fisticuffs Saturday, April 23rd , 2039 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's UCONN-Oregon State contest at Klondikes Ballpark. The Klondikes John Dyer and the Dambusters Blake Wheeler will have to sit out 4 and 8 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. This season Dyer is batting .226 with 38 hits, 7 home runs, 15 RBIs, 18 walks, .318 OBP and has scored 21 runs. He has played in 48 games. |
