Minnesota Crowned Champions Thursday, June 2nd , 2039 The Minnesota Lucky Rodents ignited a huge celebration as they beat the Cincinnati Unifiers 1-0 to win the USCBA Championship Series. Minnesota won the series 4-2, capturing the title for the 4th time. "We stepped it up at the right time, and now we're the champs," said Minnesota manager Mason Cartwright. "It's a great feeling." The champs finished the regular season 38-18 and claimed first place in the Perfect 10 Conference. In the jubilant clubhouse after the decisive game, series MVP and right fielder Billy Brooks said the Lucky Rodents have "great fans and they deserve this."
