Sawada Goes Long 3 Times Friday, March 2nd , 2040 Iowa third baseman Goro Sawada blasted three homers today at Archers Ballpark in the 8-4 Archers victory over the Rutgers Old Queens. For the game, Goro Sawada scored 3 times and knocked in 3 runs. When he hit his last home run, his teammates, hearing the crack of the bat, leaped off the bench and rushed on the field to greet the jubilant Sawada when he reached home plate. "It was just one game, but it sure was a lot of fun -- 3-for-3, three roundtrippers and a win," a gleeful Sawada told BNN reporters in a postgame interview. "What a day."
