Moorer Strokes 5 Hits Monday, March 5th , 2040 Greg Moorer was the King of Swing today at Stonewalls Ballpark today in the 16-3 Illinois Chiefs win over the Georgetown Stonewalls. The Illinois left fielder stepped into the batter's box 7 times against Georgetown and delivered 5 hits. It was a sensational game for him. "Unbelievable feeling," he told the press. "It felt good. 5-for-7 isn't bad for your batting average either." Greg Moorer doubled in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Clifton Sawyer in the 6th, flied out in the 7th, hit a solo-shot off Rob Williams in the 9th and hit an RBI double in the 9th.
