20-Game Hitting Streak for Copeland Saturday, April 7th , 2040 Patrick Copeland continued his streak at Rampage Stadium today, even as the ballgame did not go his way. The Seton Hall center fielder was 1-for-4 in today's contest and now has hit safely in his last 20 games. The Rampage were not as fortunate, losing 5-4 to the Houston Shastas. "Copeland was hitting everything we threw at him," said Houston manager Yosuke Nakagawa. "He is a tough out. Fortunately, things went our way in the ballgame today and we came away with a win." Patrick Copeland flied out in the 1st, grounded out in the 4th, struck out in the 6th and hit an RBI double in the 8th. This year Copeland has hit 3 home runs and posted a .348 batting average. |
