Sherpas Won't Get Playoff Berth Sunday, April 22nd , 2040 It's back to the drawing board for the West Virginia Sherpas. The club's efforts at building a championship contender fell short this year, as the team was officially eliminated from playoff contention today. The Sherpas have missed the playoffs 27 times in their 34 years as a United States Collegiate Baseball Association franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 3rd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2037. In the last 10 seasons, the Sherpas have only made the playoffs once. West Virginia last won the USCBA Championship Series in 2037. |
