Tulane Eliminated from Playoff Contention Sunday, April 22nd , 2040 It's now time for the Tulane Jade Breakers to start turning their attention to what can be done to help improve the club for next season. The team was formally eliminated from playoff contention today for the 2040 season. "We knew a title was a long shot at this point, but mentally there's a big difference between a tiny chance and no chance at all," said Jade Breakers catcher António Atkins. This is the club's 9th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2031. In total, the Jade Breakers have missed the playoffs 23 times in their 34-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Jade Breakers have only made the playoffs once. |
