No Late-Season Magic Coming: Rice Out of Playoffs Tuesday, May 1st , 2040 It is an "empty" feeling for members of the Rice Puddings, according to club manager José González. That's because the team was mathematically eliminated today from playoff contention. The Puddings have made the playoffs 14 times in their 34 years as a United States Collegiate Baseball Association franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 3rd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2037. In the last 10 seasons, the Puddings have missed the playoffs 6 times. Rice last won the USCBA Championship Series in 2010. |
