Lou Reed Sidelined for 13-14 Months

After the end of today's game between Barbe HS and Sarasota HS, Lou Reed skipped the clubhouse and headed straight for the doctor's office. After he was removed from the game as a precaution after throwing a pitch, the Buccaneers had their worst fears confirmed when it turned out to be more serious. The reliever will miss at least 13-14 months with a damaged elbow ligament.
This season Reed has been credited with 1 save. In 9 relief appearances and 22 innings he has a 2-0 won-lost mark, 4.09 ERA and 24 strikeouts

Title Captured - Eastern League Atlantic Conference Won by Annapolis HS

Annapolis HS Jaguars starting pitcher Lee Hale said celebrating a division championship never gets old.
"If this is what the outcome of every regular season was, I'd be a happy guy," he said. "It takes a lot of talent and determination to win a division like the Eastern League Atlantic Conference."
The club's 27-22 record has allowed it to officially seal up the division title, for the 3rd time in franchise history.
Manager Timothy Hall said it would be a "pure joy and pleasure" to be able to bring the 1st Round 4 title to Annapolis HS.
