San Luis Potosi 1B Takes Triple Crown Sunday, December 4th , 2039 When it came to hitting the baseball, Jorge Ruíz had few peers in the Alianza Beisbol Al Sur de la Frontera this year. The gifted first baseman for San Luis Potosi led the league in hitting, home runs, and runs batted in to capture the 3rd Triple Crown in ABSF-MEX history. He put up a .320 average, 51 home runs, and 118 RBIs during the 2039 campaign. A truly historic performance. Speaking to reporters, Ruíz said, "I'd be happy to lead the league in just one of these categories. To win all three makes this an extra special season." |
