Top ABSF-MEX Reliever Honored Saturday, December 31st , 2039 His manager and teammates call Rafael Ramírez a true bullpen ace. The Alianza Beisbol Al Sur de la Frontera calls him the winner of the Reliever of the Year Award for 2039. The Ecatepec Morelos relief specialist out of Veracruz, Mexico, won the award with 24 saves in 45 relief appearances, 53 strikeouts in 61 innings and 19 walks. He compiled a record of 8 wins and 4 losses and had a 1.48 ERA. He received 16 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Tomás Figueroa of the Naucalpan Cafe Tacvbas finished second in voting, while Ramón Pérez of the Zapopan Torrenas finished third.
