Ocampo Crowned Batter of the Month in November Thursday, December 1st , 2039 Ramiro Ocampo is in the final year of his contract with Guaynabo and today added a timely piece of hardware to his trophy case. Playing in 26 games in November the 38-year-old second baseman ripped San Juan Winter League pitchers for a .326 batting average, nabbing him the Batter of the Month award. He also rang up 6 home runs, 16 RBIs and 12 runs scored. If Ocampo keeps up this pace, he'll cost someone a lot of money. This season Ocampo has hit 11 home runs and posted a .288 batting average. |
