Randall and Chong Brawl, League Suspends Them Saturday, August 29th , 2037 After an intense confrontation, both the Dragons Abel Randall and the Gorillas Jae Chong were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Daegu-Gimpo game. Abel Randall will miss 5 games, while Jae Chong was suspended for 3 games. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Abel Randall commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." Randall is currently batting .220 with 22 home runs and 49 RBIs. Running the numbers on Chong for the year, he has made 15 relief appearances, recorded 1 save and compiled a 2-0 won-lost mark with a 3.69 ERA. In pitching 31.2 innings, he has totaled 43 strikeouts and 11 walks. |
