Suspensions Handed Out for Bench-Clearing Brawl Tuesday, September 7th , 2038 If there wasn't a history between Kichibei Kouki of Melbourne and Sosa Harada of Tauranga, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 4 and 6 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today. "We're both really competitive," Kouki said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it." So far this year Kouki is hitting .203 with 2 home runs. So far this season Harada has a 8-2 record with a 3.04 ERA. |
