Bad Boy Brawlers Suspended 5 Games Saturday, September 18th , 2038 The fans at Bandi Land Ballpark saw it all yesterday in the Naturalists-Dragons game -- pushes, shoves, scuffles, a few tackles, a few swings, a few feeble punches -- and a baseball game, too. When the ruckus was over, only two players were sent to the showers by the umpire crew. Muju's Yu-shu Mai and Daegu's Zachary Birtles were ejected from the game. Today the two players were suspended 5 games by the league commissioner. Thus far in 2038 Mai is hitting .264 with 4 home runs, 21 RBIs, 42 runs scored and has compiled a .339 OBP. For the year Birtles has compiled a 6-1 record with a 4.59 ERA. |
