Decepticons Advance to Championship Monday, September 27th , 2038 The Santo Domingo Decepticons took time to celebrate with the Santo Domingo fans who stuck around after the game, following the team's Divisional triumph over the Muju Naturalists. Members of the Decepticons hung around chatting, high-fiving and taking pictures with the Santo Domingo fans in attendance at The Pit of Kaon, long after the last pitch had been thrown in their 7-4 win to seal the series 3-1. "We've got great fan support," said left fielder Herman Hill. "Whether we're at home or on the road, the fans support us. So we wanted to show them how important that is to us. Some Muju fans that were there even congratulated us on the win." For the series, Hill hit .500 with a .533 on-base percentage. He had 5 home runs, 5 RBI and scored 5 runs. Things weren't so cordial on the Naturalists side of things. Their clubhouse was closed to media after the game and all players and coaches quickly dressed and left the stadium after the end to their season. The Santo Domingo Decepticons don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Melbourne Bitters - Aruba Wahoos series. That series is tied at 2 games apiece.
