IBC Outstanding Pitcher Award Announced

Kenji Yokota of the Auckland Aces BC has been selected the premier pitcher in the Intercontinental Baseball Coalition and will receive the Outstanding Pitcher Award for 2038.

The top vote-getter completed the year with a 13-0 record. He started 16 times, threw 106 innings, chalked up 106 strikeouts and 13 walks, limited hitters to a .178 batting average and posted an impressive 1.61 ERA.

He received 27 first place votes out of a possible 32. Kinnosuke Honma of the Melbourne Bitters finished second in voting with 5 first place votes, while Ross Malloch of the Sunshine Coast Crocodile Hunters finished third.
