League Suspends Ito and Calderón for Brawl Saturday, July 9th , 2039 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Punta Cana-Bridgetown contest at Safeway Grounds. The Mamajuanas Katsumoto Ito and the Flying Fish Alejandro Calderón will have to sit out 4 and 6 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. To date this season Ito is hitting .294 with 5 home runs. |
