Marshall and Fernández Fight, Get Suspended Wednesday, August 31st , 2039 David Marshall of the Punta Cana Mamajuanas and Zach Fernández of the Montserrat Mystique received notification from the league commissioner's office that they had been suspended for 3 and 6 games respectively for their part in the on-field ruckus in a recent game at Safeway Grounds. Marshall is presently hitting at a .229 pace with 14 home runs, 33 RBIs and has scored 27 times. To this point in the season, Fernández has rung up no saves in 19 relief appearances. He has also crafted a 4.28 ERA, 2 wins and no losses and 36 strikeouts in 40 innings. |
