Player of the Week: Samurakami of the Flying Fish Monday, September 5th , 2039 Takafumi Samurakami of the Bridgetown Flying Fish had an outstanding week and today was voted the Player of the Week by the Intercontinental Baseball Coalition. For the week the 18-year-old second baseman batted .474 (9-for-19) with 6 home runs and 11 RBIs. So far this season, Samurakami has recorded a .299 batting average with 76 hits, 35 home runs, 63 RBIs, 52 runs scored and a .348 OBP. |
